Religion makes monsters out of who would normally be nice, respectful people, seriously. I know some devout Christians and they are asses to anyone they find out aren't Christian, like me, I lost a good friend because he found out I'm Atheist and an Illuminatus. I live in the city with the second Highest Gay/lesbian population outside of San Fransisco, and I've gotten used to it. Theres sooo many gay people here, and after a while, it gets old. But the one hing I hate about them, is that on their Pride Parade Day, They prance around the entire City in assless chaps and Bondage gear. Im ok with them getting married, and the only thing that stands in their way is the Christians.
I really don't like them hardcore christians, and Jehovahs Witnesses. always trying to put their christian stuff up in your faces, and them being all over TV really gets annoying.

I dont really give a crap if gays/lesbos get married. Down here in Utah, colleges are starting to gain rights to discriminate against them and kick them out. All of the schools doing this are religious.

they way i see it is if it impacts you or your daily life then you could even think its wrong (dont see how it could impact you) however it doesnt hurt or harm you in anyway its just equality, eveyone is equal. How would you like it if you were in love with someone but you were forbidden to marry them? This isn't religion, this is humanity. If Bush wants to break his own laws by committing crimes against humanity, then he can be my guest. Anyone here debating about what a 'legal' marriage is needs to stop. This isn't about what gays might do to people. This isn't about what a marriage is and what it's supposed to be. This is about the feelings of the people. And the be perfectly honest, a man-to-man relationship is no different from a man-to-woman relationship. You love the person, you want to spend your life with them, yada yada yada. If they're the same, why should there be a law forbidding one of them and not the other? You're either gay or you're straight; you can't really have any control over it when you're born. There's no reason to rob someone of lifelong happiness because of some mental divergence that they're born with and can't control.
