How can I test how good my graphic card or whole computer is?Somebody metioned 3DMARK.Can somebody explain what it is?

3DMARK is a graphics benchmark program, basically it stresses your video card to the limit with extremely high polygon action sequences and particle effects, then gives you a score based on FPS, performance and others, I highly recommend it.

Basisclly, you have the best graphics card for gaming (the best combination is 4 SLI GPUs), so don't worry. Most of us that read your "Look at what I'm getting" post envy you for your graphics card.

it's better to use everest home edition for non-video card stuff. if you give me your specs i can say what the weakest link in your pc is and what parts kick ass.

Based on your system I can say you don't have any bottlenecks that would adversely affect your performance, get a good overclocker and overclock your card, it has it's own fan so it can take it, my kinda crappy X800 GT can be overclocked from 475/490 to 535/550 with no heat problems.

when you overclock, bump it up by 5 mhz each time, then test for a few hours. get to the point where graphics errors occur, or when you get heating problems, then reduce the clock by about 5-10 mhz

I have ATITool, it bumps up the mhz by 1 each second till video stress occurs then automatically finds a good setting.

Don't overclock, that will cause damage and shorten your compenets life.

My gfx card was Manufactur Overclocked.I don't see any reason to overclock my gfx card.

If you do overclock, it will speed up information given to the componet. Damaging multiple things inside it, that isn't good at all.

Only if you don't provide sufficient cooling and don't overclock too much. Trust me, I have overclocked many components with no averse affects, it only damages your system if you don't do it correctly.

So I guess if you buy an Alienware computer and select every single cooling componet they offer, your could overclock with no harsh damage? I still wouldn't overclock, I would request that it have no overclock.

exactly. overclocking is perfectly safe unless you do it wrong.

You don't even need water cooling. I've easily overclocked an Athlon 64 3000+ with stock HSF to ~3500+ speeds.

So, I could get an advanced cooling option for my computer, and make my AMD Athlon X2 as fast a higher model? Anyway, I think we should get back on topic.....
