Marijuana has different effects on people. Some people like it, some don't. Let those who with to try it decide for themselves. Besides, psychological studies suggest that more people will smoke it more often if it is illegal, because of the "thrill" of it being illegal.

Thats what I say Explosive. Weed is pretty much just more potent alcohol, it doesn't screw you up on nearly the level that the hardcore drugs do, and to do that you would have to take it everyday for 30 years practically. Seriously, you never hear about anyone who has overdosed on MJ, its impossible, you would fall asleep before you could do it. I see no problem with it, which is why I use it recreationally only, I'm not a hardcore druggy, but if I'm hanging out with my friends and we feel like having fun I'll take some just to chill out and have a good time, recreational use only is the good way to go.

Whew, we had a lond disscussion about this in my law class the other day. I'd say legalize it as long as you don't make a profit from it. Grow it yourself, roll it yourself, smoke it yourself. My dad's been doing it since the late 70's early 80's, and knows how to contain himself. After he smokes, he watches TV, does some work, or feed the fish in our fish pond. I kinda like it when he smokes, because he always makes a Very big meal for dinner, and its always really good.

Pot is very accessible in my neighborhood, The liquor Store Down the street sells it,(and grows it) and my buddy sells it down the street. I'm OK with it.

There is a difference between marijuana on the street and marijuana from the doctor. Street Marijuana is bad because of all of the extra things stuffed into it that can screw you up and get you addicted. Doctor's marijuana is different because its pure from the source with a few things in it to kill pain.

Ill never touch the stuff (or any other drug), ive known too many people that have been screwed up by it.
