Removing the videos at startup

Post by BaronvonTito790 »

Tired of those annoying Bungie, GearBox, and Mircosoft startup videos? Well, i found out how to remove them.

Here is a simple tut. Not too hard.

1) Go to your halo folder
2) Find bungie.bik, gearbox.bik and mgs.bik
3) Now there are two things you can do. You can just delete the files, or make a new folder, and place them in there.

just 3 steps.

Ok, now if this has been done before, dont flame me or say "oh you n00b you just found this out now?" im just putting this up for those who may now know

That's the hard way to do it. Just add -novideo to the end of your Halo shortcut target.

Yea, I did mean Baron. I'm too use to seeing Equinox's avatar that when I see that symbol, I immediately associate it with Equinox.

to the "end" end, after '.exe'

or just before '.exe' after '\Halo\halo'

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exeHere"

or

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halohere.exe"
