I just saw the movie. I thought it was quite good, just maybe a little too violent for PG-13. For those of you who don't know, it's a new movie with Harrison Ford. A group of criminal computer experts are trying to hack into the network of the bank that Ford works for. Good movie; I'd recommend it.

It's been out for a few weeks, I believe. I saw it at a theater that only shows older movies, but you can order dinner there and eat it while you watch.

sounds good, but i'll pass if it's not even computer literate:

hacker: "okay, so when they check their AOL mail, we push the enter button and this program goes out and completely haXx0rs their network."

*laptop hackers are using plays cheesy flash animation without even hinting to an actual OS being run on the pc*

ford: "oh no. i've nearly been sucked off of air force one, almost had my heart removed by an indian docter wearing no gloves, and frozen in carbonite, but this is bad. i need all of my accountant-specific pencil-pushing skills to stop these guys!"

*starts typing randomly on keyboard*

hacker: "oh n0es! he's teh admin!!!!111!1!11one"

ford: "get off my network..."

hacker: "nooo0ooo0o!1!11!!"

*hacker's laptop e'splodes*

ford: "me ftw!!!"

can i get an lol? :)

besides, i might not see it just because i know they'll make the hackers the badguys.

Just a movie theater in Raleigh. There's not many theaters like that here. It's probably one of the only ones in the city that's like that, where you can order a whole dinner and appetizer. And the hackers are computer-literate; it's pretty cool. There are some parts that involve taking iPod hard drives to interfere with connections, and things of the sort. There was not as much computer reference as I'd hoped, but it was still a very cool movie.

I forgot to include in my first post that the criminals kidnapped Ford's family, and Ford must rob the bank for the criminals in order to get them back.

I'd see it, I owe it to the guy who played Han Solo for helping make great movies.
