Well, the reason for this is because there was not enough M-rated games (god I hate Hilary clinton and Jack Thompson.), so they thought it was for kids, then I said yeah go get your 8-year old Resident Evil 4, it makes a good kids game. N64 was gooooood.Cuda wrote:dude, how about just get the N64, and just jack it up on 'roids. Make it the most killer system ever... The GC was a flop, why not go to their roots, and blow them out of the water with some awesome looking N64...

no-one in their right minds would bomb Peral Horbor either, what's your point?jks wrote:I'm willing to bet that they are going to change the controller design before release, no one in their right mind would release something so ugly.
and yeah, GC was for kids, after it came out i never saw a single non-kidde game advertised by nintendo, ever.

I heard the PS3 controller is comfy too. Rumor has it that the controller needed room for batteries for bluetooth wireless, and that the batteries would've been weighting down the back otherwise.
I know plenty of people who get cramps with the XBOX controller. I think it's just different hand sizes though. =/
It sure is ugly though. I've never been fond of xbox controllers though. They're too bulky (even the S type)

Also mario soccer was pretty hardcore. You don't see Mario drop kicking the everliving shit out of Luigi too often.

To me the PS3 controller looks more painful that anything. I have really long thin fingers, and the PS2 controller killed my hands because it was far too small and a bad shape. The Xbox controller fits my hands a lot better and only starts giving me cramps after about 36 hours' straight usage. By which time my eyes are usually trying to lock themselves shut anyway.Dan!! wrote:I heard the PS3 controller is comfy too. And there's another major advantage the Xbox had. The comparatively heavy controllers worked like a charm for throwing at annoying siblings.

Not exactly, it was about shooting spanards infected with the "Las Plagas" parasite, and killing evil creatures, saving the presidents whining daughter, and killing that guy on the cover of the game who wears a bag over his head.Dos Mes wrote:I don't know what your talking about Dan!!. Because RE4 was definitely about collecting cuddly teddy bears. And mario taught fat kids how to get out and do things. Do you see now how it's all about the kids?

I agree with the RE4 being the best gamecube game period, you know what X-Play on G4 said about the game? "Spanish people are scarier than zombies."The_Hushed_Casket wrote: Best Gamecube game period.
If I get a next-gen console any time soon it will be a Revolution for a few reasons: I'm strapped for cash, and the Revolution is cheap, and the launch games look awesome. I've got three words for you: Mario Kart Online

Twilight Princess is going to be a gamecube game as well as a Revolution game. They're incorporating the Rev's controller into the game.Warbandit mk 3 wrote:Notice a pattern here? Halo 2 was first orignally to come out in the Holidays of 2003, then was pushed back to November 2004. And the new Zelda game is showing a similar pattern.
Early speculation of the rev's revolutionary controller was that it was going to be ALL touchscreen ala the DS's and you move the buttons anywhere you want.Cuda wrote:if only they figured out to make a large, flat, 1 1/2 foot wide controllers with a bunch of buttons that you set on a desk and use. all the Hand configuration problems would dissappear.
They had one for Steel Battalion. I never bought the game becuase it cost $200, but it always looked cool.Cuda wrote:if only they figured out to make a large, flat, 1 1/2 foot wide controllers with a bunch of buttons that you set on a desk and use. all the Hand configuration problems would dissappear.
Im talking about a Keyboard. Just make a keyboard controller, so it'd be like playing a PC game. just cut out the Numpad and make that the mouse like on a laptop. simple. The only design for a game that had lasted. you can play for days on a keyboard and your palms and hands never get sweatyand your fingers never hurt from gripping a controller ofr an extended ammount of time.

That's not a bad idea, maybe they could try something like one of these:Cuda wrote:Im talking about a Keyboard.
