If Linux had more games I would switch to Fedora Core 5 and never look back.

Microsoft, they have more applications running on their computers, and there's a whole ton of reasons why I like them better.

Imgettinowned, that's flaming, you are disturbing. Serousily, I could think of better flames than that. Why would you risk you membership focusing on one guy who is completely irrealevent to your life and existence?

Thanks Maca, now back on topic.

Microsoft has been the best of computing companies, and maker of my personel favorite of the operating systems. You don't see Halo CE on the Mac. Therfore, with a Mac I couldn't make my upcoming CE maps now could I?

Bungie was going to be a Mac company entirely until Bill Gates bought them. Therefore, I hate Bill Gates and his dumb PCs, which is why I'd prefer Macs anyday.
I would love to get a mac, i just cant afford one :(.

and Bungie wasn't going to be Mac-only, the were mac only, for nealry ten years (i think it was ten anyhow) ever hear of the Marathon games? Humanity is endagered by a vastly superior alien race and you and your trusty (but maybe not trustworthy?) AIs are the only thing in their way. sound familiar?

oh, and in response to the above video, i have been useing macs for ten years and never once had one crash anywhere near as badly as a Windows machine will crash. Oh, and i have also only experienced about five actual crasheson a mac in that timespan. mostly because i was trying to get a 200Mhz g3 iMac to run quake3 at ful graphics. Worst thing i ever ahd happen was when my 5-year-old power PC had the boot sector on the HDD die of old age. (and possibly a power surge, don't know how much that had to do with it)

70% of all computers use microsoft operating systems, so most people don't make games for them.

Bill gates owns 15% of apple, he was one of the creators of it

We've already stated the fact that there are so few apps for macs because of the much smaller market

straight from bungie:
Back then, the PC was clearly the dominant computing platform, but that didn't stop Seropian and his Artificial Intelligence class compadre Jason Jones from embracing the Macintosh, for reasons of familiarity and ease of use rather than any fundamental business thinking. That and the fact that Jason Jones had a mostly complete build of Minotaur ready when Seropian convinced him to join forces.

The differnce between Bill Gates and Steve Jobs is that Steve Jobs is experienced. He build computers by himself.Bill Gates on the other hand never build a pc or software. He bought the Dos(later MS-Dos) from a few students. If I would be one of these students i would have killed myself. :D

Indeed. He was hired by IBM to write a new OS and he just bought the rights to DOS from a company in Seattle.

That's incorrect, Bill Gates was making computers when he was young and he made his own componets, and the other part of your post is.

He did not buy it from a college student
When IBM decided to build the hardware for a desktop personal computer in 1980, it needed to find an operating system. Microsoft did not have any operating system at this point. The most popular microcomputer operating system at the time was CP/M developed by Digital Research in Monterey. CP/M allowed software written for the Intel 8080/Zilog Z80 family of microprocessors to run on many different models of computer from many different manufacturers. This device-independence feature was essential for the formation of the consumer software industry, as without it software had to be re-written for each different model of computer. Bill Gates referred IBM to Gary Kildall, the founder of Digital Research, but when they did not reach immediate agreement with him they went back to Gates, who offered to fill their need himself. He licensed a CP/M-compatible OS called QDOS ("Quick and Dirty Operating System") from Tim Paterson of Seattle Computer Products for $56,000, and IBM shipped it as PC-DOS.
