360 controller is turning off upon shaking

Post by a mammoth »

I just got my 360 and when ever I shake my wireless controller hard it turns off and makes a subtle click. I believe this is becuse the power pack is not seated tight enough. Anyone know a fix that is not duct-taping it to the controller?

nah I just spent over four hundred on the console, I don't feel like going out and getting a new controller., I think there's a sensor to check if its on or not. so If I can disable that, but i don't know how to, my problem would be fixed.

In that case, try calling up tech support.

Low Batt's

Whenever The Batt's Are Low And Something Like A Lot Of Command Are Sent Through The Controller It Will Die, But If Your Simply Scrolling Through The Menus It Will Last Longer

If that's the case, then recharge it.

I had the same problem with mine. I just kept changing the batteries and I made sure the pack was secure and it's great now. It's almost as if it had to be broken in a bit

nah these are the disposable ones, and the batts are pretty fresh,
EDIT:ahh I just found it, using the disposable, I jammed a little piece of paper into the metal thing on the power pack, now it won't turn off when shaken, oh it was turning off during games, which really pissed me off
