141 Modded Maps Download

Ok I have noticed something. I was not going to download the maps but I just was going to download a different torrent off the internet today and I noticed I was still dling this from like 2 days ago. I am almost at 270 megs in so I guess I will just finish downloading it. I am seeding as much as I want right now (.5 kbs) because I would like to dl this and finnish it , but want to help others dl it.

seed more, 80% of your cap will give others much more and wont effect other programs sufficiently i upload at 40, everyone with a 256 connection should. bigger connection share more. seeding at .5 is doing noyhing for anybody making you a leech and not a peer. dont leech, theres no point. share

Well I am a peer not a leech, because I am seeding .5 kbs. I am leeching but also seeding. I dont have a fast internet like 3/4 of the people on this site smart one. Like I said earlyer i have only 56 kb actually 52kb. I think Zone 117 was right, You are negative .

Sorry i splurged the extra 15 a month for cable. And what kind of dumbass would try to download over 3 gigs on a dial-up connection.WOW
I feel sorry for you dude. The map pack is the shit. But it would have been just as easy to compile the ppfs along with a mainmenu and shared ppf for each of them and post that. People could get it faster and it wouldnt be.. umm... ILLEGAL!!!

WOW! I was thinking about starting to mod/get mods for Halo2, but this...

this has closed the door on Normal Game play, and open up the door, opened the windows, and bashed down the 5 meter thick titanium wall to the modding room. Mods here I come! This is BEYOND PC. I modded PC, but it is heavily Inferior to this.... by the way. Then again, I've only just came back and learnt about Halo2 modding. This is Impressive to me, but I dont know what you guys think.




Oh, by the way. Im watching Vid 2 and 3 now, but in Vid 1, a couple of levels looked like something out of a Super Mario game. Ivory Tower near the end was one of them lol.

Ok I just put my seeding up as fast as it goes on 56kb which is 3bs (about). Now it also seems I am downloading faster.

btw the mainmenu has 50 slots, not 41.

I have shamed myself 0-49 in dot halo .

It was the first bar in my sigs fault And torrents are always proportianal to your upload. the more you give the more you get. Why did I think 41? Oh yeah, I was listening to their album while posting. Darn, chronic.

I am not all that familliar with torrents. but I have set my seeding to 7405 kbs but I only get around 2-3 kbs from my internet. But I am downloadingf areound 2kbs also. I guess I am a little crazy to download a 1.31 gig file off the internet, but the 1st map pack disk I want. I have not played any of those exceept 1 or 2 of them. 1 of the other disk ( Ithink it is disk 2) looks a lot like the independet map pack which I have already dl awhile ago.

well, i got a chance to try disc 2 of this pack out. I was horribly disappointed.
Not one map had a preview image( and over half of those maps had preview images in the patches like soot, blood bath, and a ton of others). I repeat, not one map had a preview image!! . Also, 80% of the maps didnt even have a description. No descriptions no preview images - crappy pack!! I could tell he didnt do to great with his mainmenu. If you get these youll need to have dothalo and the ability to edit your main menu and add dds images. Its not hard. Its incredibly easy to add a description, I was shocked with how many didnt even had a description. All in all, this was a good idea with a horrible execution. oh yeah, they extract to about 2.7 gigs= this means there was major compression. It makes for slower load times. The load times werent horrible but noticeabley slower. Sorry, if i bursted any bubbles. Its a good pack but you'll need some modding knowledge to make it better.

I agree. They need pics and descriptions. I might update the menu soon if I have time

Also, Does anyone knows what the Halo Remapped v1 files are, please post (I think it may be Halo 1 maps but I dont want to download it and be disappointed).

If they are Halo 1 maps, are they Xbox or PC?

I think these folks did a great job on the maps. Absolutely fantastic. I think Bungie should put them on the payroll and release these to the public in a new MAPPACK. wart wart. EEEYYYY They're after me.

ok, i just downloaded it all. I did the tut, used the bitlord crap (took forever) and i burned Disk 1.

It plays and starts up but when i go to the map, it either:

a) fails to load map
or
b) send me back to lobby or startup menu.

What do i do?
