Alienware has quad SLi systems now, I just think its pointless to have 4 video cards, I mean what the hell are you gonna do with it you already run every single game invented on max settings and max resolution? When will the waste of power end? Make the good cards cheaper so normal people like me can buy them

I bought the motherboard and the card SLI enabled so in the future if games need SLI i can upgrade my computer

Holy crap. With Quad SLi, you could run a rig with 2 GB! of dedicated video memory. That's just obnoxious.

No see, 4 GPU's enable better performance in games. Think of it as a Xbox 360 on steroids, the graphics would look photo realistic with those graphics cards put together.

Yeah, if there were any games available. I believe what jks was saying was that even with two 7900GTX's in SLi, you could run any game available on the market at max settings. Having quad SLi would do nothing because you already have the power, it's overkill. However when the games get released that could take advantage of that power, you'd be getting some insane graphics.

Or you could go with less powerful gfx cards and then the 3 slots would come in handy.

Those graphics are killer, I know what graphics card I will put in my computer (my motherboard has onboard graphics I think.).
