You take a part of an SP level and you make it playable on a MP map so you can play it with your friends. Its like a new map.

no those are custom made. They placed each and every one of those machs by themselves. BSP conversion is getting a map from sp....how can you not understand this>!! Play campaign..

the two u counted....are no BSP conversions :wink:

both of them were mach mods....like metroid tunnel ...

a lot of people think that it would be bsp, but its not^^

this is bsp conversion

Actually its kind of the same for this. Its just not a big mach as the map, its a new bsp. And you also have to replace weapons and stuff just like you would on a mach conversion. :wink:

I know. That's what I explained (or tried to explain :P ).

Mach's are just something you place on a map and null the bsp.

Bsp conversions make the bsp completely different. Unlike mach conversions, they are harder, and take more time.

But for both, you need to place weapons and collections and spawns and everything.

xxSilencedDeathxx The BSP i was doing was the shared bsp like shades very first one.......how is the shared.map's bsp bigger than coags?

Ohh, you didn't mention that.

It shouldn't be though. Make sure you select your blocks in Dec, NOT Hex.

Ok guys i think i am close on the shared bsp to coag. I got to the last step and went to ADI both maps open fine:)......how do i get to the dependencies of the bsps? I have ADI 2.0.......can someone get me a link to ADI 1.2?

here is ADI 1.2c. To get to the dependancies, go to the sbsp tag and click on the bsp. Now, go to the bottem right corner and click the icon farthest away, and then click dependancies.

BSP. IS pretty much all the solid ground you stand on in a map.

A MACH= machine, is a piece of scenery that you can interact with or moves. (Not boxes, but things like the Gate on Containment, the bridge on Delta Halo, or beam on Headlong.) All gates, elevators, and gondolas are MACHs.

So bascially since most MACHs are big, people have made whole levels out of them.

I still Dont know how to do that the tutoral is way to complex still maybe a more exsplaind tutoral or video tutoral I have so many Idea's I still dont understand can anyone help me out. :cry: :cry:

I dont Understand How to do this either Ive tried 4 times and faild every one. I have followed a text and vido tutoral but no go I have every tool and app so I dont know. :cry: :(
