mod chips

im thinking about modding my xbox
does anyone no how to do it or no a good tutorial
and also does any 1 no a good chip itself (link would be nice)
and what are the advantages of modding?

please help a mod chip noob

There are probably a buncha mod chip tutorials, but i reccomend going to http://www.Xbox-Scene.com for general modding info. If you wanna buy a modchip, I reccomend http://www.Modchip.com or http://www.Modchip.ca if ya live in the great white north like me.

Most of the modchips come with super easy instructions and there are even Noob-friendly Solderless modchips too!

i goy the X-bit pro that requires some soldering, but there are other xbits that just pop in with a little plug thingie. I reccomend the X-bit tho over all other modchips because thats the one i got and its awsum. (and the name's cool too)

Dude just get a matrix/xodus chip. but if you are serious about modding you should def consider looking at www.xbox-scene.com espically if you still want to play xbox live. I have a matrix with a switch so i can still play live. But if you have any other ? just look at xbox scene or pm me.

hey yeah um well dom too bad 4 u and ur matrix i got an XBIT AND YOU CAN TURN IT OFF 4 XB LIVE EVEN THOUGH I DONT EVEN HAVE XB LIVE!

Dude you are an idoit. I have a switch. Have you ever heard of a switch. Do you even know how to use a switch. I can play live too. It turns off my mod chip becuase i have a dualboot enviroment. . When i turn it on, up comes evox and when its off the m$ dash comes up. Dude before you try to diss someone again, take a look at what they wrote and throughly think about it. Then you can try bashing them.

i am gonna get an X-BIT. does that have a turn-off switch? sorry i didn't really get much out of ur fighting.
