NICE! if only I could get started in some way... :(

I honestly cant come up with ANY ideas about what to do...

*edit* err wait, I came up with one, but I dont think it would be that good (as in it's not very different, and would lag like hell)

I havent done any remodeling or work on the Mordorian camp yet, but here are some pics and descriptions:

Wide shot of Minis Tirith.

Staying semi-true to the book, I have included two sets of very long walls guarding the city. There are some holes, but those will be fixed.

The outside of the flag hall. I kinda like how that one texture turned out green because of the tele :)

Inside of flag hall. I plan to add pillars later for the LOTR feel, and also for cover. This location is ENORMOUS, much larger than I expected it to be. For good reason, it is impossible for Warthogs and ghosts to enter the hall.

ImageThe unfinished armory. The walls and floors will be lined with weapons for Gondor (in other words, no curved daggers, spears, or Modorian Longswords).

I plan to add small houses for cover. The concept is, if the walls are breached, the city is pretty much taken. This would be soooo kick ass if the HEK allowed us to support 32 player games...

thats awsome good job. for my two towers map i have almost finished the first tower. im tryin to think of a way to get he eye into the top. any ideas?

Remodel and reskin a rock so it's a circle, use photoshop to draw an eye, and use the blur tool on the edges. Using SE3, place it on top of the tower :)

And no, I won't give anyone the map until me, tsuska, hunter, and [lotr] are done, which then hopefully we can make it all into one .ppf filled folder... :D

im working on a ppf (almost done) to make the rocket launcher (soon to be a big crossbow) shoot arows instead of rockets. if any of you has a crossbow rocket launcher already made we can use it. it will be out prob tomarow

i just wanna show u this maybe sprouts an idea. i think its pretty tight found it a long time ago don't know who made it but they would have to be pretty good.
sorry had to make it a DL and a zip file might take a while to DL but its cool anyway.

wait, wasn't the axe for HXB?


but anyway, Ive figured out my idea, sort of... well, I was going to do BG with lots of octagonal pilliars like that massive room inside the Mines of Moria... so I did one pilliar (took a while), and I realized that this mod might look better as Isengard (before saruman went all evil and such)... I could adapt the tower to look like saruman's tower, and create a circle (and maybe a platform up top :D )... but I realized that I would need trees... so I rebuilt the map using a tree from Death Island... and lo and behold, Sparkedit didn't want to swap anything with the tree... I haven't checked HMT yet, which I suspect with which I will be able to sovle my problem (just swap the scenery)...

but anyway, that screwed the bitmaps.map I'm using, and now it always renders the plates with what I think is the treeleafy_superdense bark texture... so my point is that it'll need some work... but anyway, Ill have pics up soon...

any comments on the new idea are welcome :D

Thanks, sorry for your Helm's Deep...hopefully it doesn't appear I stole it, I made up an entire "Medieval Mod Idea" back in December, but I needed duplication to make it. If you don't believe me, I'll give you the link.
