dont know about you guys but if i had the money i would pay for this thing:

For those of you that know anything about cars the engine has got 16 cylinders and is mid-engined. 600,000 dollars US, but only 8 were ever made

Fastest is the Thrust 2 with two Rolls Royce Jet engines, but the Fastest Street legal car on record is the McLaren F1

And no, the new ferrrari is faster than the mercedes mclaren, you need to take a driver's course from ferrari if you want to buy one

Im not talking about the Mercedes McLaren SLR.... Im talking about the Ameritech McLaren F1... There is a difference.

well, this car certainly dosn't go as fast as the above listed... but it is a DAMN awesome car.

this is a ford falcon 500 year between 69-72 with a huge V8 engine. This thing would sound bloody awesome. it is PURE muscle

But those are stock cars. The fastest modded car on record was a Volkswagen GTI, modded and tuned with over 1000 horsepower.
