I asked the Nintendo Tech support guys that same question. It was for an Accessory for a Japanese game, and you'd plug in a deck to a keyboard into it. Since the product was never brought to America, its pretty much useless. They had a Modchip-ish thing that you could replace the little cartridge slot in front of the Game slot though.

turn the n64 into a bomb. the trigger would be a zelda game with a custom made sticker overlapping the zelda one saying "halo 1". the cartridge would be the igniter. give the game and n64 to one of your friends as a gift. when your friend inserts the game and turns on the n64 *BOOM*

Modding 64 is pretty useless cause it can only handle around 100 verts :D

BTW ever wondered why the took "64"?
I found this out myself.

64 bit?

Post by a mammoth »

I thought the 64 was for 64 bit color at least thats what someone told me. And the Zeldas are exelent games and I do own it and play it. I read once that you can mod it to play japan games by opening it up and taking out this plastic thing.
