That would require info to be sent out via packets or ftp like you said, which would require a debug bios with a separate ip. Not happening...

Aequitas, what exactly does that APP do?

Does it automatically download all the screenshots taken and converts them to bitmaps?

does it do more?

I assume this program deswizzles too?

It probably FTPs while at the same time converts it to a bmp. Otherwise, I don't see the point of the app.

That and it probably makes it easy by reading the title ID's of games so you don't have to know/find them.

Why would you want that?

When you click rthmb/lthmb a second (or 3rd/4th/5th...etc) time it already makes it screenraw2...3...4...etc.

yes if you guys try the Battlefront 2 or Brute Force ones, you will see that they are able to take more than one. It just names them differently.

i dont know whats goign on i prolyl did somthign stupid but it dosnt wrok i took off the patch for 1.1 still dosnt work...? help

Aequitas - so your app if I understand right, would FTP, and deswizzle the images easily and get them to your computer?

Any chance of adding ability to use the debug BIOS and the XDK tool xbcp.exe to take the image off the xbox while in Halo2 or any other game or dashboard as long as the xbox is running a debug BIOS? (Yeah, I still know, its a bit rebundant when you could just use Xbox Explorer or XIG to take off the current image... but I've explained why I'd like that in previous posts)

It'd be pretty simple to implement - just have the user set the path to xbcp.exe, and then just start it with the file name of the file to get off the xbox, and where to put it. (xs: drive of xbox goes to E\TDATA\, so to use it to get E\TDATA\4d530064\screencap.raw off, you'd start it up as

Code: Select all

xbcp.exe xs:\4d530064\screencap.raw screencap.raw

and you can also use the parameter "/x XboxName" or "/x IP" (Debug BIOS IP of course) to direct it to get the file off of a specific xbox, and more parameters can be found by starting xbcp.exe with no parameters.)

There is any easy way to run the program (you only need to type in the command one time.)

Open notepad and type in: deswizzle screencap.raw image.bmp

Then when you save it, save it as Convert Image.bat (make sure you save it to the same directory as deswizzle.exe)

Now all you have to do is put the screencap.raw file into the same directory and double-click Convert Image.

All these ways to convert the image, but what about when we have more than 1. We will need the ability to "deswizzle screencap1.raw." and "screencap2.raw" Or just retype it.
