Skins : should i use the gimp to skin halo

i used gimp for these skins and i know they look like crap but i was just fooling around with it to see how good it was. So i wanted to know if i should use gimp to skin halo. (these are my first skins ever made)

It appears all you have done was added words to the flags..

And I would use Photoshop to skin.

Just to say you people dont need to really concentrate on that, from witch he already stated.

and just because something is free doesnt mean its worse than something you need to pay for to get.

but yea PS is better, Gimp is really good though.

I know people that work on the PS ver's


they lose money off cracks, and or illegal distribution... I dont think people understand that the workers dont really get payed that much for the hours they spend making programs, and apps and stuff..
