Hey guys i really need your help. I have my ultimate mod in the works now but there is one thing i need to know before i can take it to the next level.

First let me tell you about my mod. It will include 10 new weapons and a few new vehicles while keeping all of the old weapons and vehicles. Some of the new weapons will be the energy sword, the battle rifle, the SmG, a laser beam gun, a nuke launcher, and a grenade launcher. The others are secrets for now. (hehe

) HERE IS THE PROBLEM! I know how to add new weapons while keeping the originals but this is what i need to know. How do i give my weapons there own bitmaps and sounds and shaders so they can look different then their originals? Do i have to change the deathisland.bitm.xml?

HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED, PLZ HELP A FELLOW MODDER!

open the map in HHT, and change the dependancy

I already did that. I just need to know how to make my new guns look different by giving them their own bitmaps and such. Kind of like what Iron Forge did in hogwars.

swap an unneeded texture with the one you want to use, then change the dependancy in HHT of the new weapon to be that bitmap...

now that wasn't that hard...

Yeah but i dont want to do any swapping. I want to make my own. I batch extracted hogwars and that helped a little.
