XBox emulator for PC?
XBox emulator for PC?
Does it exist? Everyone knows the XBox forum is dead, so I'm postin' here. I don't mean an illegal emulator, I own the games, I have a DVD drive, I just want to play xbox halo on my PC... any help? links, perhaps? I can make an image of the disk if some emu only takes images

No. There probably won't be an emulator that plays commercial games for another 4 to 8 years. Maybe longer, like 10.
Hopefully never. The Xbox has been through enough shit like this already.
And all emulators are illegal. Just so you know. Well, its a question of fair use. And nobody wants to go there.

I beleive its how you go about getting the info about the system.
Bleem! was technically legal because Rand (the creator) and the rest of the dev never actually hacked the Bios of the PS1, but the reason Bleem! was shutdown was because Rand and the others didn't have enough money for all the lawsuits.
Thats what I think happened at least.

hmmm... that would make sense... but anyway, why would they sue someone who hadn't done anything illegal?TsukasaZero wrote:I beleive its how you go about getting the info about the system.

Yes. We are. Anything warez related should be locked and deleted.

And the reasont they sued Bleem!: Sony would've lost millions in profit margins because the system ($150 at the time) wouldn't sell, only the games. Thus Sony would've lost development companies and buissness partners, which means no PS2, PS3, or PSP.
