My first model

Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

What he said, I suggest getting Gmax. You can atleast render (with a plugin)
and its better then Milkshape.

It's actually not hard. I have Gmax, and worked everything I know out for myself.

Actually, it's rather good. My first model was horrible compared to this. I could see this being in a low-polygonal adventure game. Once you are able to make primitive models, such as this, you realize that the only difference between your models and the models of the masters is the addition of detail and the removal of polygons. It's weird, but you need to add more while subtracting polygons... that's the general rule of thumb.

Overall, you did a very nice job on that model. I'd suggest you learn to skin that model, then figure out how to render it. Once you do that, post it back up and I'm sure you'll get many positive comments.
