Download HMT which can be found on the files forum.
When you have it downloaded, open it up, open up a map by going to file, open.
Then when you have any map opened up, there will be something on the list called [bitm] or something along those lines.
When you click that a bunch of things will go down, those are all the skins.
Select a bitmap, and to the right there will be an image of what it looks like. Below it there will be a button that says something about saving it, click it and save it wherever.
Now, asumming you have the .dds plugin for photoshop, you go to whre you saved it, double click it or open it up in photoshop. When you open it it will ask you something about mipmaps, just say no.
After you skin it, save it as a dxt 1 and open up hmt again. Open up the map again and find the bitmap that you have reskinned. Click it and notice that the bitmap in hmt isnt skinned yet, so you click the inject texture button and find the skin you just made. Double click that and now your skin will be shown in the view.
Click save that is near the top and close hmt. Open up halo and watch your skin in action.

I believe this is what you were asking for in your other topic that got locked. It's in the Files Forum, so that's why you couldn't find it. Excellent tutorial. I always have that tutorial open when I go to skin a warthog.

Yes thank you!
