Regret
Pillar Map Set

I've Planned the following and haven't completed them:
UHMM
Pillar Series (but that's not my fault, I've gone further with Pillar than anything else)
Trepidation

So that's, what? 2.5/6 Incomplete Projects.
So no, I don't 'never finish anything'

Really i think it shhould just be a ship, Not something you can fly, On ship/Space station Combat is liked by numbers of people, Trepidation was glitchy, & if this a ship made with hallways ect. while some random guy flys it, youll have Mc's Flying everywhere :P

Expect your drawing to be the basis of the map, In fact, that's pretty much how it was originally planned.

Floib:
It's a small vehicle, even smaller than the scaled down halcyons, so don't expect too much lag. Also, their will be plenty of seats.
Also, Trepidation lagged cause it was the size of hugeass, I really didn't consider that in making it. This map will actually be much smaller.
On-ship combat will still occur, seeing as the asteroid bases pretty much are ships (click on hogdeaths plans which I will be using).
Other than that, I guess the real reason I'm going to make them vehicles is because I'm obsessed with big-ass vehicles.

Interims come out friday, which means I CAN FINALLY USE MY PC WHEN MY MOTHER'S HOME THIS WEEKEND!!!

MAJOR update:
Remember back when I was first complaining about my mouse getting frakked up? Well, guess what? I tried my Microsoft Blue mouse (yes, as in the 'blue' mouse) and it didn't work with frak, so just now, I opened up my old mouse, fiddled with the USB cable, and viola! she works! Except, the problem that cause it to not work in the first place makes it get disconnected when I arrange the USB cable to put the top on, so my mouse has no top XD

Why is this important?
I FINALLY HAVE A MOUSE!! So, now, even when I do only have, say, 5 minutes to work on this, I can get 5 minutes of work done, not just 30 seconds worth!

you realize that there will be 2 large asteroid bases right?
now bacon, this is a yes or no
Is it poaaible to add like an atmosphere and make a planet below the bases maybe 6-10 km below
If so i have very detailed plans drawn out and i have more ideas. But We have to wait because the map is being made around the ship.@

:shock: I hope you are not thinking of making the asteriods vehicles. Bacon the asteroids are hangers for the moonhopper!
And this map will have to be near hugeass sized to acomidate both of the asteroid bases

And yes there will be 2, I know.
They will each be 3 times the width (or more) of the Pillar Of Autumn.

i have the length of each base on the plan 1.9 km long including the part that sticks out behind the invisible wall that is the edge of the map
(yellow line)
but the moonhopper i made is much larger that what it appears to be so it may be about 500m shorter. and ssubtract the part that extends past the invisible wall. I would estimate a map that is about 5km long

I'm the one that told him to do that... XD

I think I may use the mini hangers instead of the huge one's from the Pillar of Autumn, mostly because those ones just couldn't have existed in the POA and were way too big. This allows me to make a much smaller 'rock'.

this is for the asteroid bases right?
don't because i have plans to use the hangers for pelicans warthogs scorpians
and put a lifepods in the outside wall as shown in the plans and i am thinking of cutting out a lot of the hallway to the moonhoppers hanger to make it shorter and quicker to get to it
i have new plans stand by they should be up soon

I'll do all of that, but why have warthogs etc. inside the rock?
Vehicles (per team):
Draco x1
Longsword x2
Warthog x2
Lifepod x3
Pelican x2 (docked on top in a base-like building that leads to the inside of the rock)

I will still use the lifepod bays, but I think the map will be too big if I use the huge hangers, standby for a crude model of the whole map...

ok bacon i came up with the idea to chop off some of the huge hanger to make them a little smaller
pelicans in the pelican chutes and 6 lifepods in the 2 hatches and if you don't use this idea can u make me a pic of ur idea so i can make inprovements

and are we making a surface below the asteroids
like a planet like 4 km below
bacon can u pm me ur aim name so we can go over ideas (i have over 500 skeches of ideas)

what is that blue thing in the ship model?
and you can get them from the first map in the game
and have you made the cafeteria more like the other rooms?
Um how long until the pic?

As soon as I get 3ds max back up and running, it's died 3 times from the freaking lifepods.. dang bsps....
