Well.... obviously to have it rain harder, I guess. I've thought about trying to add rain to Selan Forest, just to turn up the whole gloomy atmosphere another notch... but I'd rather work on my own mod than tweak someone else's. Maybe just use the rain to increase the atmosphere of a map, rather than just doing it 'cuz you can. Thunderstorm, maybe?
i could easily do lightning but i dont want to steal someones thunder (excuse the pun ) but then again a new version wouldnt change all that much im thinking unless i went all out for it...we shall see

Steal someone's thunder? Has lightning been done before then? It'd just hafta' be a bright flashy explosion, right? Or a sniper shot with a really jaggy contrail?
