Little help with my map...please

Post by scar tissue »

I cannot seem to find the projectile bitmaps for the Plasma Cannon or the Charged Plasma Bolt. Can anyone direct me. Apologize if it is right under my nose and I cannot find it.

Also, I was wondering; how do I make random projectiles fall from the sky and hit the map? (if possible of course)

I don't know if it can be totally random, but if you could find a tutorial on chain-spawning, it can have a similar effect. Check out the video in the Halo 2 Modding forum.

Couldnt you just hex in rain and then use hht and swap the data with the plasma bolt so it will rain plasma?

I dont think so :P Just use the active scenery tutorial at halopc.net but instead of swapping the projectile's mod2, leave it alone. Just make sure the spawn point is pointing down so the projectile falls down :P

why would you hex the rain in, when you can just use HHT to add the rain?

And if they don't accept Jesus as their Personal Savior, you can kill them later. How cool is that!

EDITED:
I PMI'ed the rain from c10 (Guilty Spark) and it worked. Looks great for my mod but I want to get something more.

Questions I have:
1 ~ Is it possible to make the rain glow. I'd like to have it glow a pale blue/violet color to make it a little more noticable.

2 ~ I created a deep fog in the map but it ends when the sky is in view...how do I change that?

3 ~ I removed the waves of the water and it looks like ice. Its so still and I like it but I want to give it a slight glow (like above, a pale blue/violet). Is this possible?

4 ~ I PMI'ed the Monitor into my map. How do I get him to float around?
