xoranges plates on pc

Post by peabnuts123 »

at the moment i am trying to make xoranges plates on PC, a lot of people want this so im gonna make them, ive got the model done fine, but there are just a few things i ned to fix,

1.)The skin
i have got the perfect skin for it, but i have problems seeing it in-game:

2.)The Collision model
if anyone knows how to stretch the collision model 5x on the z axis or whatever, plz tell me, or could someone at least tell me what each chunk is in the log collision xml?

im gonna try using xoranges, im trying to figure out how to 'batch extract' a ppf file.

oh, and PLZ dont tell me to get that stupid collision model plugin, ITS PRACTICLY USELESS!(but quite handy for editing health and shields, lol)

you cant batch extract a ppf, you have to apply it to a map first

Yeah I was about to say that. Couldn't you apply the PPF to the map and then batch extract the result?

Anyways, just bumping this to say I'm really looking forward to it. I'm so sick of the endless "log mods". lol

I figured out how to do it with a little messing around in hex and a somewhat vague tutorial that xorange linked to. I am going to implement it in my next crazy matrix mod and then provide a tutorial for you all

hmmm... maybe you could open the ppf in notepad and it would show what changes it makes, then you could crossreference those changes and graft them into a pc map? j/k

but maybe you could get an Xbox modder to do it for you...

as for the tut, its here. and please look for it in the future. (Ive had to post that link sooooo many times Im getting tired of it...)

hht isn't for anything like this... its used in reference swapping. that means that we could now import vehicles in weeks not months.

um... do you have any knowledge about what HMT does? HHT does an ENTIRELY different set of things... Things HMT can't do but HMT does like 50 things HHT doesn't...

uh... if you dont know how to find hht, then maybe you shouldn't be messing with it? but oh well, it seems to be my moral obligation in life to post links, so it's here.

*edit* looks like Ive been beaten to it, but that was because I was posting something fairly long in that thread... check it out (I'm isuckwoot).... can you say "yeah!" for flaming...
