acuttly some cheaters have skill like my cousin has cheated on games but he is good with out cheating

Totally jumping the gun, we havent even had confirmation of release date and your worring about cheaters. Yes its possible but there wasnt really that many cheaters in halo 1 on PC, part from the aimbot however yes people may make one for any reason but its not a certain thing.

Before joining a game, the game should check all files to see if there was any modification (with crc or md5). That should solve the problem.

Aimbot prevention can easily be prevented if a game checks no Dlls are being injected, or values arent being overrode by unknown processes.

about the unknown processes, some people can "sign" the DLL's and make it "known", I forgot what the entire process is called

if microsoft didnt want people to cheat, then they would go to extreme levels to block it, but somehow some jack... would figure a way and do it

ok if u play halo pc you never come across cheaters, halo2 on pc will be the exact same way, besides if chaeters do come up its way easier to patch a pc game than an xbox, thats one of halo2 xbox's limtis that will be gone on the pc version. It will be fine.

dude so many things are already possible with XP vista is probably just going to be an advanced fix for a lot of things. so when u have halo 2 pc it might actualy run the same exact way as halo 2 xbox cuz bungie suxors using minimum prices. what im trying to get at is that everything thats possible in h2x is going to be possible in h2pc

I guess i am a little... Well behind in the times... but how do you guys know bungie is making halo2 for the pc... last time i heard from bungie, they hinted that it wasn't going to happen...

No matter what you are going to have cheaters on any game....hacks are made by people who play the games.....who know how to code.....I suggest you dont play PC games if you are afraid of hackers playing beccasue it will happen on any game...Even with anti cheats...I dont suport them...but no matter what they will always be there

punk buster cant stop everything like using universal shield on a file so punk buster cant find it do you people read any faqs on the internet and theres things that can be done that wouldnt conflict with punkbuster. Face it cheating is inevitable. Battle field 2 on ps2 has punkbuster but people rank up on there so punk buster wouldnt stop everything

I already have the Halo 2 PC DOT halo plugins.. the beta test for the PC version came out and i am one of the few who got the leak and am able to run it on my version of vista.. send me a message if u want it.
