Hey Guys this is my first post and I need someone to take me under their wing. I want to start a mod project for Halo 2, but I dont know where to begin.

1. What tools are used for Halo 2 modding?
2. For Reskins is there an alternitive for photoshop?
3. Where are some good tutorials?

I want to start off with some simple stuff like adding rims to the hog and stuff until I gain my wings and stuff....... I just need some good tutorials and someone to help when I get into a snag.

For 1: ADI, DotHalo, Insolence, and Darkmatter are very useful and popular aps. The first three can be found at teamhlo under downloads. Not sure where I found darkmatter.

you could also just get the all in one from the files forum in the halo 2 download section. it has a ton of apps in it, everything you could need

A friend of mine just got a book, "Halo 2 Hacks" thats pretty good for telling someone how to start off. I kinda wish i knew about that book when i was starting off. Would of saved me alot of time.. Oh well....I can't complaign....Learned alot more through my mistakes.....
