HELP skinning new weapons in halo 2

HELP skinning new weapons in halo 2

I have made some new weapons for halo 2 e.g. FN P90 and I have injected them into the game but they are all black how do you skin them.

you need to uvw map them to get the basic layout first. and then color the new map layout. Here is a tutorial on how to do it.
