Don't know about the rest of you, but I consider DotHalo one of those miracle programs that allows you to do just about anything to Bungie's greatest game ever. So why wasn't it ever finished? Or have I just been away from the forums to long and maybe it really is. Last time I checked, though, Map Rebuilding had yet to be completed. If you could have any feature or features included in a modding program, what would they be?
It probably would have been finished but farklem got out of the h2 scene at least i think. And whenever high6's new tool comes out he says that itll have tons of stuff so lets just wait. And obviously prometheus will just rape when its released in 2099.
Was he using the HMT source from MonoxideC? I wonder why Farkem made batch extraction for DotHalo but not Map Rebuild... Do you think this will be fixed for Halo 2 PC?

its not a software development kit, its called the halo editing kit. and yes you could port stuff from Halo CE to Halo Xbox, there was just a few minor differences (like raw data and reflexives). and its a good chance that you can port things from H2 PC to H2 XB, because hopefully Bungie (or whoever) didnt remake Halo2 for Vista
Most of the Halo 2 editors such as DotHalo can also edit Halo Combat Evolved. Maybe HMT will be able to edit H2PC maps, particularly if they wind up being the same format.
