On political differences

End the BS on politics.

I think that we can all agree on one thing, the American government is run by idiots and that political parties hae ruined our country. I'm not just bashing the current gov. i'm saying that for the past 15+ years our gov. has just become about political parties. There's no intelligience left. No one stands up for what they believe in, everything that they do is motivated by the want for power and for the ultimate goal of destroying the other party and becoming pres., even if that means ruining the country in the process.

For example, i live in New Jersey, the past election for governors made me sick. Not once was there a plan for the future and for the bettering of the citizens. The whole campaign was based on negativity.

EDIT2: after rereading the post i've realized a few things, a little bit back i got into a heated arguement with JKS about politics, i know for a fact that i was exceptionally close minded at the time, whether he wants to admit it or not, i believe that he was somewhat as well (no offense). Politics are always a barrier between different people, even if they're best friends. Why? because they're are no definite answers for politics and most people hate to admit that they're wrong. Also, a person's veiw on poltics is juat like his/her view on religion. One that usual can never be changed, no matter how valid the point.
One thing to remember, human beings would rather fight than compromise, it's the way we're wired.

Btw, I don't know if I made any sense, I'm tired and i'm not going to bother reading it over. If you disagree with me, post why. i'm wrong in a lot of subjects, and it's always nice to see other's veiws, (that's if their willing to see yours)

I dont see the relationship between Hitler and GWB. George W. Bush had a college Education.(kinda) Hitler didnt. George Bush hates Black people. Hitler hated Non whites, Jews, Homosexuals, Communists and anyone that went against him. George W. bush didnt kill 6 million jews. Hitler did. George bush conquered a country for Oil. Hitler did it so he could expand Germany. Hitler got his ass kicked. George Bush is about to.

yep, that last post was totally unnecesarry. I hate bush, but the thing I dont get is, why some people are making a big deal of the whole wiretapping deal. He wasnt the first to do this. Clinton did it, Carter did it, and many other late 20th century presidents did. The biggest thig I found funny was, At Coretta Scott King's Funeral, Ex. President Jimmy Carter attacked Bush about the whole Wiretapping thing, even though he did it in Iran.

I think the only reason bush is getting attacked soo much is, that He's had tradgedy after tradgedy stack up on him. first 9/11, then tsunami relief,(or lack their of) The war, Hurricane Katrina/ Rita; and the aid given, Osama being evaisive for the past 5 years,(even though we had multiple chances during the Clinton administration to get him) and now the Wire tapping. He just got a bad draw, and the constant controversies stacking against him is just bad luck.

of course. There are the people that are reluctant to return, and those that have permanently relocated. Some didn't go back. We got two new students from New Orleans that were displaced, and they have no plans on returning. Therefore, they will not recieve any aid.

So if another Hitler rose to power (and I'm making no comparisons here) and tried to commit genocide, we'd just 'let it slide' this time because someone already tried it?

But thats killing 15 million people. this is only tapping phones. And these were suspected terrorists with alleged connections. durring wartime Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton were under no such circumstance.
