How do I make blood gulch look like its at night and how do I make it look snowy like on sidewinder?

Ok so i dont wont to make another post so I'll just use my old one (which nobody really answered hint hint).

Well anyway I am using the fallen log thing to do some stuff but I cant figure out how to make it go vertical (or up and down).

Also in blood gulch the dont have any really cool trees so how do you swap some for like a tree in Timberland.
