UV Map Problem!!!~Kurt's Tut used!

Post by {BKK} »

Hi, i've been following Kurt's video tutorials to the letter to an annnoying result. When I get to the part, yes I applied the bitmap correctly, the map does not show up. It is still gray. Before, when I was making a differnt map and stopped it, I forgot to add a smooting group of 2 and I saw the bitmap in Mesh Editing without show result on. Please help I enabled it the right way this time but it's still freaking gray!!!!!!!!

In the material editors there should be a little checkered box symbol that when you go over it, it says somethig like: show material in veiwport.

there is a little white vial below the modifier tree. if it is half empty, then it wont "show the end result" but if it is full then you will see the uv mapping and stuff, unless you are working with the faces, then you wont see much. I usualy have the bitmaps disabled and the end result off. it helps with speed and is easier when working with faces, especially if you have the diffrent textures diffrent colors.
