Still Problems!

Post by bombdiggity »

Okay, I downloaded a mod. I put it in the folder with the levels of halo. (Yes, I have copied them and put them in a backup folder). But how do I get the Mod into halo? It's not there.. How do I get it to take the place of a level or however you do it? Thanks.

that modded file has to be the same name as the level taht its in, so u just replace the map file so if the mod is called bloodgulch.map, u delet the one in ur maps folder and stick the modded one in there.

it would help if you were very clear about what you did, step by step...

as for the backups, just keep them in another folder under the same name so that you can just copy/paste/overwrite...

the mod didnt work? as in you weren't actually playing the mod but just regular BG? if so, you must've not placed the mod in the right folder...

The first shows the halo folder and the backup folder but....
The Pictures are posted below BUT I found something. When i single click on all of the maps it says (mapname).map but when I click on bloodgulch it says: bloodgulch.map.zip Is the .zip supposed to be there? Look at it in the 2nd pic!
