If the program refuses to initiate, it may be because your subscription has ended. You'd need to purchase a new one.

Zone alarm is good i have that and McAfee. But you should go to the help website and just email them to see what they tell you about it.

Wow, way to be a dick when someone was trying to help.

And how can you not reformat? I guarantee if you booted Knoppix (which boots through your BIOS, so your screwed up Windows could not affect that) and used QTParted you could format your hard drive. That should of course be a last resort though because you'll lose all data.

Personally, I wouldn't be too worried about Norton being deactivated ;)

If you really want a firewall, use your router as one (I'm sure you can google a guide on that). Software firewalls aren't really that good, and in the case of Norton, usually do more harm and hog system resources.

well try going to activate it in options and look at your subscription thing

because on NAV 2k4and nav 2k5 there was a bug that deeactivated your program soo see if ur subscription is still valid and if it isnt check the sysmantec website for a patch to fix it

it probbally applies to norton internet security to sences they are made by the same company and are kinda the same
