ok ive down loaded HMT the plugings .net ect when i start HMT and try to load any map into it it says invalid map? i does say .map on the end of the maps they have been ripped strait from the xbox? sugestions :

i dont no im realy confused about it ive read through alot of tutorials and i cant find any thing helping with it?
p.s. i am a n00b to be onist and i do under stand an ive softmoded this far ect in 2 days 4 the first time if thats good? lol plus im 15 lol so yeh please help!! it would be much apreachated (cant spell)

Sure, you can open any Halo CE map in HMT, all you have to do is convert it to PC format first, and then convert it back to CE format when you've modified it however you like.
