wouldnt you think they would've made an announcment by now? It didnt take them 2 years to announce HaloPC after the success of Halo on the XBox. Unless they surprise us and announce it at E3, but people are anticipating Halo 3 to care about Halo 2 for PC.tebteb wrote:They would probably make Halo2 on PC, but it probably wouldn't be the same as Xbox.

It makes perfect sense. That is, if Microsoft has lots of money in mind.
What is one of the biggest game titles around? Halo.
What is one of the biggest console systems around? Xbox. Now Xbox 360.
Halo 1 was created initially for Xbox, and was ported to PC/Mac shortly before Halo 2 was released. Halo 1 got all the PC obsessed people obsessed with Halo. Now the Halo fan base has doubled. Halo 2 is released. All those die hard PC halo fans are now sorely disappointed that there is no immediate port to PC, so they go out and not only buy Halo 2, but an xbox as well. Instead of Microsoft getting $50 from them, they get like $200.
Now, Xbox 360. All those diehard PC people that didn't want to pay for an old console now realize Halo 3 is probably coming out for Xbox 360, and based on the results from halo 2, it's not coming out on PC. They see Xbox 360 as a new console instead of an old one like it was with Halo 2, so they buy an Xbox 360. Bam, now instead of paying $50 for a game, they have to pay at least like $500.
So in a nutshell, Halo 1 PC was a game to draw gamers away from the PC to the Xbox, blah blah blah you get the point.
Royal, ever programmed an xbox game?

did you honestly think you had to quote his whole post??
But If you think about it, We already bought a piece of their hardware, make some upgrade for PC,(or just make it only work for Vista) and make it not available on mac.(kill two bird with one stone. 1.) They buy the upgrade for the PC, and also mb get Mac's to convert to PC or XBox 360)

I really doubt that anyone who uses Mac would convert to Windows just because of Halo 3Cuda wrote:did you honestly think you had to quote his whole post??But If you think about it, We already bought a piece of their hardware, make some upgrade for PC,(or just make it only work for Vista) and make it not available on mac.(kill two bird with one stone. 1.) Violence is not the answer, it is the question. The answer is yes.
