Well, what they found out is this:

Plugging your finger into the barrel would still get your hand shot off, but the barrel did puff out slightly. Basically, if you plugged your finger into the barrel and got your barrel out of the way of the gun, you'd lost your finger and that would be all. If you stood in front of the gun and plugged it, you'd lose your hand, and the bullet would keep going at a fast enough speed to kill you or seriously injure you. The myth ended up being busted, since it stated that the barrel must have a "banana peel" splitting effect, and the shooter must be hurt or killed. While they were amazing that a ballistics gel finger (and later on they tried thick dirt) could actually puff out the barrel, the myth was not true.

the finger in the barrel caused the barrel to bulge ou slighty, but that was with shotgun, with s gun with a longer barrel and a singel shot, it probably would have worked better

thats show is like the best thing between channel 70 and 50, the one thing about it is the new people i dont really like them as much I wish they could of had people more like adam and uhh forgiot the other guys name.
I like the one were they have a house full of bug spray thingy and then they light it:)

I think I have seen more episodes then you ppl have. We watched the very first season. I think the best one was when they tried to see if two big rigs could smash a car and the car be lost in the wrekedge

The cool thing about brainiac is that they fill up Rv's with all kind of Gas types and blow them up.On the other site they got british accent

Braniac is sort of like mythbusters but it was originally aired in England but G4 plays it occasionally. Instead of 'busting myths' they do very quirky experiments. Such as in what situations would it be prefferable to be overweight or underweight (in a freezing room, floating, etc.).

even though braniac does some cool stuff but its not all that interesting just watch jack @$$ the movie now there is quality entertainment
