Gmax and .tif Textures

Gmax and .tif Textures

I'm following the HEK video tutorials found on this site. I'm doing pretty much what he is doing, only I'm using Gmax instread of 3ds Max. Everything is going good, until i go to open the .tif file I made earlier, as a texture on the ground.

I get this error(?) every time. I can't really figure out what is going on and can't find any info about this on these forums; maybe one of you might know.

Keep getting that error. Sorry to bump this, but I would kill to find out why it is doing this.

try deleting everything before "data"
just guessing cuz it says wrong header.
