ya I just uvw unwraped the tire but my texporters acting up and render the uvw coordinance's right but im working on it now.

EDIT: well i fixed the problem so heres a pic of the tire with the uvw on it im going to start skinning soon:

I see some black spots, and it's not the lines ;)

Check the inside of the tire tube and the most upper face of the tire, they're black.

The sides don't match the main part of the tire AT ALL, 'nor do the treads.
And that is a ripped halo 2 texture.

that would be alot easier yes except for yeah, weights but when we get it figured out all these models will be amazing.

The part with the bumps (actual bumps, not bumpmapping) on the tire seem to be really skinny compared to the rest of the tire. I think it would look better if the top was widened.

sides still don't match the treads. offroad tires have very aggresive tread, and even are on the sidewall. yours are limited to the middle. looks very cut and paste.

The guns in halo 2 that are swapped out are automatically linked to the main node. i.e. you can't inject a completely new clip that is reloaded into the BR under it's own node movement. Or, your own wheels on the warthog that follow the node movement of the original object. Since there is no way to link a specifc part of a model to a node currently for halo 2, no.

Seems that he does it without AA, to speed it up and get it posted faster. I would, but then again, my computer sucks for rendering. :P

Nice concept, hope you can get it to work sometime.
