removing sniper rifle contrail?

is there a way for me to make a transparent, or non-existent contrail for the sniper, so i can have totally hidden snipes in my new mod?

You should be able to if you find the texture of it.

Then just swap the texture for the cryo glass texture

theres another way to do it... using HMTv3... just swap the contrail of the sniper with the contrail of the assault rifle and it whood be gone... if not... then go wiht superfly... wichever is easier for ya

Its in the bitmaps, about half way down just look for this

"levels/a10/bitmaps/cryo glass"

Cryo glass is completly invisble so it wouldnt show it up.

but....its bigger dimensions than the contrail .bmp file, and hmt3 ran into an error or sumpin when i swapped
