It's Kind of Sad/Pathetic...

Post by RaVNzCRoFT »

It's kind of sad/pathetic that many topics (just look around in some of the categories) have more views than even the Official Rules Thread in the News section. Any thoughts/comments on this?

I got a comment. Damn nubs dont think and they come back after their temp ban saying "omg wtf did i do!!!11!" even tho its perfectly stated in the rules. they should make something where it forces them to go to the rules section, take a test on the rules, then give them an activation code, THEN they can enter the forums.

I doubt phpbb allows something like that

they should. It'd prevent the excess flood of n00bs breakin the rules constantly. then they would have an educated bunch of n00bs. But it'd be easy to pull this off. when they first join, they automaticly enter a group called "applicants" or "n00bs". Once they passed the test, theyre inducted into the Grunts and enter mainstream.

They actually have a quiz you need to pass before talking in the Halomodshelp IRC channel. You need to answer questions such as "Did you search before coming here? -- Yes", and "Who designed HHT? -- CLuis".

They want you to have a basic knowledge of the site before helpless nubs bust in. :P
