ok well is there a way to make custom effects? or like a plugin for it? because with phenomena's 60 plugins and if i go to the effects branch its just some confusing stuff that i dont get.....so is there a way to do it with that but the plugin is just really confusing or is there a way to do it with that one and i just cant grasp it? sorry a little too many questions but anyone who can answer me thanks a bunch! :P

Effects from scratch = not exactly. There probably is but it's probably a complicated mess, plus you'd have to understand the way older effects work to get the new one working fine. I work on them for my maps, but I don't do then in PC.

i think you have to edit the bitmaps... correct me if im wrong.

It's not that, that's just a part of it, small part of it. Bitmaps just render what texture you want the effect to use, not the effect itself.

you can use hht and swap around the particles in the dependancies, you can get some interesting stuff
