I'm just starting out with modding for HALO and I read and followed the HALO modding guide for dummies by SirLuke. Everything was going great until I went to test my new pistol. I has set numerious pistol value to it's rocket counterpart value but as I hosted a LAN game and Internet game, it was normal in both. Where did I go wrong? Could someone help me?
actually it just worked for me... i made a pistol that does frag nade damage... its AUSOME when u shoot hogs heh heh heh. But how do u get it to actually SHOOT out the rockets?
1. Get HMT.
2. Scroll down to the [proj] Projectiles section.
3. Click the pistol bullet.
4. Click "Swap" and swap it with the rocket.
5. Click "Save".
6. Close HMT and see if it worked.
What do you mean? Do you mean other people in the map can't see i't or do you mean that you just can't shoot rockets?If your having trouble with shooting rockets then...all you need to do is swap the value of the pistol with the value of the rocket......I'ts alot easyer in Hmt3.....in hmt3 all you nedd to do is prees a couple botons and wham youl be shooting rockets.To get hmt3 go to the files forum of this site and go to utiletes(sorry for spellin)And find hmt3!
