I f you go to yahoo or google and search for .obj and gmax you probably will find it!

lol, ok follow this route: Gmax>scripts>start-up there u go
put the scripts(.ms) in the startup folder, ten run Gmax, goto the little box on the end of your editing tools (right hand side) click MaxScripts.
Then scroll for OBJ. importer.
once clicked on there is a button which says Import, and vwualla! there is your answer(im uploading pics if u dont understand)

its gmax2obj right? <-- that is the program that i have. it works for 1.2, and any verson of max that has the maxscript.

i just dl the script thing but when i try to open a obj file is show a text thing and gives an error.

copy your *.ms script, then go to your max directory->scripts then paste it in there. go under the last tab in max then down to maxscript. open that up then run your *.ms script.

doesn't work
when i go to that hammer icon and look in maxscript it says that one of the utilites is the wavefront obj imorter but when i click imort it doesn't show up

yay i found someone having the same exact problem im having. cant figure this out for the life of me. anyone maby have any clue??? every time i try this thing it just imports nothing and then beeps at me whenever i press a button after the 3rd time.
