edit: as for the serenity problem it does ake me a little confused..i cannot think of anything i have done to ruin serenity ness...unless of course its because people used bad versions of dark matter to inject the models, which renders serenity useless... :(

i am confused about why it would stuff up at bitmaps though, since i havnet actually added one
OOOH i think i know actually now! i decided to change a format of one of the DXT files as i was too lazy to open fotoshop, laziness is punished for once :D ill see if that fixes it

OTHERWISE ill put up a *sigh* sized ppf...this is gunna be very g4y...
i think i may make another map wiht all the stuff in...

BTW. everything but bitmap skins and the models i couldnt get working are in...

so i'm assuming that you liked the rusty ol' shotgun? i think it should have a 2 shot burst with the pellets more concentrated. maybe a bigger muzzle flare and thicker smoke. i like to keep weapons simple, not too much of a difference as to keep things balanced. oh and the shared ppf is up there.

excellent...ill just do my usualy shotty...2 shot burst, fires slower (like from trigger pressing) has a nice contrail and has a better shooting sound...i reckon the shotty doesnt have much of an oomph in h2 :(

ok so i guess i don't know how to make a proper PPF file, i will put up a new one tomorrow when i'm not so sleepy. i guess i could just internalize it into headlong for you while i'm at it. i am also working on a rocket launcher that should be done tomorrow, it looks really good too.

Scotty Gee well i made the blank headlong with the shotgun in it, it still needs the burst fire and maybe a little muzzle flare and smoke effects. so its all on you now, hope it fits the mod.

ok this is unfortunatley quite gay...after checking out in uberanalyse tool to see if i had made some bad parts of the map through this whole compiling other peoples stuff thing and i found nothing wrong...well except for a part labelled crazy ;) but other than that its all good in the proper places and everything and seeing as i dont have a real understanding of serenity i dont know how to fix my problem...

So basically the question is, would you guys still enjoy or even play the mod if i put a *sigh* sized ppf file up for download?
this obviously gives me no restrictions into what i put in the map but itll be a heavy download basically ruling out all impacient dialup people...

So yeah would you guys bother downloading a big ppf file? :(

no i wouldnt care at all to download a big file but just make sure you put it in a .rar. that would make it easier for us. i really want 2 play this map and cant wait till it's all finished! btw when do u think you will have everything in the map and when will the final version b released?

If you were to play youd realise theres alot more left to finish...
as the weapons arent modded really apart from the ones ive done...

plasma rifle
plasma pistol

So if you wanted to whip up a weapon and make it into a serenity that would be lovley...unless of course you just want me to make the weapons but then that would just make this community mod a ScottyGEE+modeller/skinner mod...

So it all depends on what you guys give me with when this is done...

whatchoo mean? could you give me a link through pm? if its the model then yaeh im gonna use it (once u put it in serenity form) but i havnet seen an effect of ortherwise for a sniper and THATS what im talking about...weapon modding and such not skinning or modelling...

I can make 1 ore 2 weap/effect mods, its the same for me whitch weapon it is, as long as its not nedler.

and you may have answeard it before, but i dont feel like going true 25 pages,
so do you care if i dublicate an effect?(it wont take system-link away)
if no: witch effect is unused?

duplicate away and dont worry most of these 25 pages are discussions on things that arent in the mod :( so your not missing too much...

but thanks for the effects duplicate them and do it for whatever weapon that i listed above....
