[Model] Tippman Model 98 Paintball Gun
[Model] Tippman Model 98 Paintball Gun
ok, well I decided to day that I should learn how to really use 3ds Max, so I read a few tuts, and decided to make a Tippman model 98 Paintball gun. Now before you critique it, remember this was my first model of a real gun, and I know it isn't perfect, and that may be because of the things that I dont know how to do, like make a curved cylinder for the Co2 line, but IMO, I think it looks pretty good under the circumstances. Please let me know what you think, and any advice is welcome.

Well I didn't. I'll take that as a compliment in that it looks good for being my first model of a real gun. I have another update, I found a tut on UVW Mapping, and I've been playing around a bit...
you can't really tell from the pic, but it is a teardrop barrel, well it is skinned as one, and I added "Tippman 98 Custom" on the side, and I put "Pure Energy" on the uhh... high compression tank.oh, and the co2 line is now textured as braided line, but you can't really tell from so far away...
***Im not good with rounded parts, so if anyone wants to help me out and make me a hopper (preferrably a "Halo" hopper or a power feed view loader or something) I would greatly appreciate it...
