Photoshop hmt inject texture problem

Post by deathsyire »

Ok I was screwing on the bloodgulch map, I changed the colors and everything and saved it as a Dxt1. I goto inject it with Hmt, it says file must be saved as a Dxt1, So I go back out and resave it as a Dxt1 no Alpha, and still getting the same thing with hmt, What can I do?

Uhm. Weird thing with HMT when it does that. When it says "must be dxt1"
it means that it can't be a dxt1. Try dxt2 or dxt3. Also make sure you check "generate mip maps". I don't know about the alpha part, I havn't skinned in awhile but I THINK it's no alpha. Try both ways and see which one works better.

Oh yeah...1bit...anyway, still if it says "must be dxt1" it means that it CAN'T be a dxt1. I'm sure of that.
