Then it would look ugly...you see, if you have 100% opacity, which is much volume of a color is put down (really bad explanation, quickest off my feet), it looks FLAT. It looks like its in safe mode, seriously. In PS, that pelican is pitch black. The lighting in Halo makes it look a lot lighter.

Also, the original one looked greenish, this one is really freakin black.

In a nutshell: Any darker=flat, safe mod look.

I meant as in a skin...and personally, I like the sentinel secondrary fire bitmap....
