Isue with skin on blood gulch

I spent a few hours to make a snowy blood gulch, and it's looking decent... But, there's one issue with this mod... If you see, from a distance the skin creates black streaks all over the ground. Here's a picture I took using the HaloFlyCam by bitterbanana:

Does anyone have any advice to fix this? Maybe nulling out a shadow effect with HHT 5?

personally it looks pretty sweet as a nighttime snow gulch
