Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

Referance Frame Movement?

Post by CanasClone »

IM A NOOB! So please don't spam me.

In the video tutorials by Kirk (sorry if misspelled) he says to move the referance frame outside of the map/box or collision geometry will occur.

1. What is the referance frame?

2. How do I move it?

3. What is collision geometry?

Thanks!

You don't have to move it out.

1.A reference frame is a simple box with the name frame. You have to link all your geometry eg.level to it in order to export it later.

2.Click on it and at the top there is a + <similar to that sign.Click on it.In one of the viewports a X with the XYZ will appear.Click and drag.

3.Collision geometry is geometry which you can collide with.
